Dining Room Assistant - $25.00 per hour compensation package min.

The Farm Table Inn is a destination experience located at Skutz Falls in the beautiful Cowichan region. Our guests come to explore the area and all of our offerings in a personalized way that makes them wanting to return for another dining or overnight experience. We are looking for another team member to assist us as a part-time dining room assistant. - No experience required, but a friendly attitude and willingness to work is a must - An appreciation for detail and a passion for excellence in customer services - No certifications are required. We would be happy to educate someone and pay for certifications they want to get. Serving it Right or Food Safe -A professional and positive attitude and great conversational skills - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and a passion for dealing with and connecting with others . Duties include -Serving tables. -Setting up dining room and bar for dinner -Opening and Closing duties including sweeping, wiping tables, polishing glasses and utensils, napkin folding and more - Answering phones and taking dinner reservations and other inquiries. -Handling customer purchases in our on-site Farm Store This position would suit a student or someone looking for an entry level position ata very high compensation package. someone who loves and understands that our customers expect excellent customer service and enjoy a leisurely dining experience. This position is also suited for someone who understands quality of service over quantity, must be driven, self motivated and task orientated with strong attention to the details. Our restaurant is open Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights for dinner service and special events. Must be available all holidays and long weekends. Minimum compensation including salary and gratuities is $25.00 per Hour. Most days its higher.
