$1,200 · Vintage AKAI AX80 from 1985

In excellent functional condition, this AX 80 was AKAI's first polysynth. Classic 80's membrane switches all function, and the unique vacuum florescent display is in perfect condition. This one has had the Tauntek firmware upgrade which, among other things, allows you to hear adjustments to the filter without having to retrigger the keys. There are minor scuffs on the instrument and the only substantial issue is the torn left corner wood panel. (See last photo) I didn't bother painting it, but doing so would nicely hide the damage.
