I am extremely busy, serious inquiries only please. This is one of the nicest most unique bikes available in this price range anywhere. I can't go anywhere without people wanting to talk about it. It gets more attention than any bike I have had. 32000k MILES - Imported about 12 years ago from USA. There are very few of these in Canada. Searched for a very long time. This is a modern classic. Really nice cruiser with a reliable drivetrain that was offered in several models. The bike is rare but the parts are not. Parts available at Island BMW. This has been garage kept since new. I am the third owner. All of us (owners) are avid bike collectors. This runs beautifully, lots of power, lighter than most cruisers and comfortable to ride all day. This stops on a dime. This is the top 'Montauk' model and was the best year of all models they offered this bike. (Best wheels, brakes, easily adjustable suspension, more power, way better dash, fatter rear tire, wishbone suspension lots of improvements over the original 97). This also has the very rare factory hard bags. (Most came with leather wrap plastic panniers that didn't last). These are the factory upgraded bags that have keys that match the ignition. They are quick release. Factory heated grips and a passenger seat (not shown), ABS that works better than any other bike in my collection (even better than 3 new bikes) The brakes and suspension have a unique safety system that works together to lower the center of gravity when you brake instead of pushing your weight forward. Tires are new. Battery is new. If you ever wanted the James Bond R1200C this is the nicest one I have seen anywhere. They started in 1997 and were in the James Bond movie. The first ones were nice but was not a great ride with a bunch of quirks. Each year they made them a little better. This model and year was far superior than the first. Soon this will qualify for collector plates. This boxer engine and drivetrain is known for extreme reliability and long life. I met another R1200C Rider and he 260,000 kms on his original engine and it was still running perfectly. These 2004 Montauks rarely become available because they were largely considered the last and best of this rare cruiser and almost none came to Canada.
