This very rare and unique bike has been stored in a heated garage since new. It runs mint and is a nearly perfect work of art. This is the top 'Montauk' model and was the best year of all models they offered this bike. The suspension and the brakes are exceptional. I have paint matching quick release hard-bags with it and a passenger seat, factory heated grips, ABS that works better than any other bike in my collection. (The brakes and suspension have a unique safety system that works together). Tires are like new. Battery is also like new. If you ever wanted an R1200C this is the nicest one I have seen. They started in 1997 and were in the James Bond movie. The first ones were nice but each year they made them a little better. This model and year really was far superior than the first. It won't be long before this qualifies for collector plates. This model is low maintenance and known extreme reliability and ability to run many many many miles trouble free. I have seen others on the road with over 200,000 kms and still running perfectly well. Parts are plenty available because it is a unique bike but this drivetrain was used in many other bikes. There are many of the early models that tend to be available on occasion but rarely the 2004 because they had all the best engineering and were quite superior in many ways.
