Delivery Driver

Special Occasions Party Rentals is hiring for our summer delivery crew. The busy season is upon us! If you love working outdoors and being on the road in the summer, this could be the job for you. Keep busy this summer working in the busy events and wedding industry. Lots of opportunity to work lots of hours and possibly grow into a bigger role with us in the future. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Be part of an energetic team putting together tents and event rentals. Main responsibility will be to drive a 20ft delivery van and perform on-site set-up and removal when needed. Warehouse duties include some cleaning, truck loading and unloading as well as inventory repairs. You must be physically fit and able to lift up to 70lbs. Should be able to work independently as well as part of a team. This role is 4-5 days a week and some overtime can occur. Ideal candidates will be both reliable and punctual as this is important for the position. Preferred candidate would be available for some weekend shifts, but not required. Pay is $23 - 25/ hr depending on experience. QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS * Must have valid BC Drivers License and be able to drive a 20ft delivery van * Drivers abstract and Claims history * A high school diploma is not required. PREFERRED SKILLS * Any experience setting up Marquee or Mega Frame tents. * English speaking is an asset but not required * Must have a full range of motion and dexterity.
