Vital Society is recruiting individuals, couples and families interested in becoming Home Share Providers. What is Home Sharing? Home sharing is a CLBC-funded living arrangement in which Home Share providers share their homes, families and lives while providing support to individuals with developmental disabilities. What does Home Sharing entail? Home Share providers offer a safe home environment, nutritious meals, transportation to appointments, access to recreational and community activities, and supervision based on the needs of the individual they are supporting. What qualifications are required to apply? Desire to provide care Valid Driver's License Criminal record check (To be completed by us) Accommodations for an individual Further screening and a comprehensive home study will be undertaken with successful candidates. Full time: The supported individual lives with the Home Sharing provider on a long-term, full-time basis. Respite: This type of Home Sharing provider provides respite care only.
