Starchild Centres, Ltd., with two licensed 24-child daycares, located on a 9 acre hobby farm at Mill Bay, and a 2 acre pasture and forested property at Shawnigan Lake, is in need of an enthusiastic ECE. Our focus is upon outdoor education: offering a unique holistic nature-based curriculum combining Montessori, Waldorf, and Reggio Emilia philosophies and methods. Children's outside activities include vegetable gardening, tree planting, nature hikes, feeding chickens and Koi fish, petting the miniature goats, alpacas and horse.
