Community Prevention Worker

The Prevention Worker assists in the coordination and facilitation of family circles and traditional decision making processes designed to engage and wrap around supports for families with children at risk or coming into care. The Prevention Worker enhances and stabilizes children in the care of their extended family by helping coordinate and implement Cultural Caregiver support services to those providing temporary or permanent care for children in their family or community.
