$800 · WANTED: Apartment for conscientious couple

Looking for the Duncan area. My partner and I are in our 30’s and are conscientious, quiet, clean and are happy to do gardening and handywork. I have always left apartments in better condition than I found them, doing minor necessary reno’s/improvements (that were approved). Can be a bachelor apartment, as we are looking for perhaps $800 (less would be nice but I realize rent has skyrocketed) in the last five years. Could possible stretch to $1000 if we really love the place. We both have vehicles. My partner works full time as a welder and I just started a small business (unfortunately a month before the pandemic which is why our budget is low) I have an older indoor cat, non-smoking. I have great references.
