Seeking a Cargiver - Home Share

A 58-year-old male with Down's Syndrome is urgently seeking a long term Home Share caregiver and family in Cedar or surrounding areas. He is described as compassionate, loving, social, and enjoys being part of a family. This lovely gentleman's skills and abilities include helping out with laundry folding and sorting, sweeping and vacuuming, and keeping himself and his room very tidy. He is independent for personal care. He is able to make simple meals such as toast or cereal. He is verbal and enjoys reading sports statistics and watching hockey games. He is seeking someone with compassion and a zest for enhancing a person's quality of life. His current providers are wanting to retire from fulltime Home Share and would like to remain a large part of his life and can provide respite opportunities. No experience required.
