$500 · RARE 1940 Carmelo Catania mod. 22 cello guitar

I have had this for many years simply as an art object. An amazing and extremely rare art deco piece. I am not a guitar player, I bought it privately as a work of art. 20 years ago I paid $600 and I thought that was fair at the time and something is only worth what we see in it right, if it speaks to us, what is it's value. it looks like the wooden bridge can be adjusted but I have left it in original condition so I have never attempted to do that. I say 1940 because the label is printed 194__, with the blank space empty rather than a 1 through 9 indicating year. Advertised as black, there were a few brown made also it seems but this is the only one known of so far. The website link to fetishguitars actually uses photos that I sent them, so the photos on their website is THIS same GUITAR being the only one known to be in existence. If you enjoy simply having a piece of art like this hanging on your wall or in your guitar collection, well then, you can do that if you want to.
