Lockwood Farms is looking to hire an amazing person who can deliver all our glorious farm produce to happy customers. The work is primarily driving a 5 tonne delivery truck around down town Victoria. You will need physical strength to maneuver carts and carry 30 dozen eggs (about 60kg). A cheerful disposition is must as you are representing Lockwood Farms. Patience and an even temper is also a necessary asset. Tuesdays and Thursdays are our current delivery days. You must be available to work on these days with an early start. This position is 18-21hrs a week, if the applicant is interested in other farm duties, the position could be full-time. Delivery days can be long, and most of the time is spent delivering. Applicant must have the following qualities: *Initiative: knowing how to get the job done. You are the sort of person who sees something that needs fixing, and you go and pull out your tools and fix it. *Efficiency: You like to focus and get on with your work, you can complete a job quickly. *Sensible: You take safety seriously, your mom doesn't need to tell you to wear ear and eye protection. *Stalwart: You can work for 8 hours in our winter outside and maintain your farming enthusiasm. Applicant must have the following: *Clean Criminal Record Check - We have kids and international volunteers around here. *Driver's Licences - I think this goes without says, as the job is driving.
