$25 · Administrative Support Professional - P/T Contractor position

LOCATION The contractor will work from a home office under the supervision of our Senior Administrator, located in Cobble Hill. HOURS The contractor will be available from Monday to Friday to answer phones and emails for approximately 20-35 hours a week. Ideally, the hours are tentatively 5 days a week between 10 am and 2 pm. Alternative schedules will be considered and there is potential for this position to eventually expand to full-time from 9 am to 5 pm with a 1-hour lunch break. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES -Abide by privacy and confidentiality requirements (PIPA) to ensure student information is protected and not discussed or made accessible to any third parties. -Accurately and consistently answer incoming calls in a friendly and professional manner. -Respond to questions and requests for information by phone and email. -Keep accurate notes in the comments section of students' records regarding student conduct, special requests, and related correspondence. -Keep daily phone and email record report -Prepare envelopes with stamps and stickers to send out transcripts and certificates on behalf of students -Review admission interviews and when necessary ask students for elaboration if answers are partially completed -Additional responsibilities as required.
