$800 · 2003 Mazda Protege

Good sporty little car. Last year that Protege was made. It's got all the power options, 4 wheel disc brakes, 5 bolt wheels, sunroof, AC blows cold, everything works except for one fog light bulb burnt out. The car's well cared for but it's getting on in age and KM. It starts every time, no engine or tranny issues. It has typical wheel arch rust at rear but otherwise it's pretty nice. It has a newer metallic green top paint and black bottom. With a clean and polish, it really shines. I put in a new clutch 3 years ago. All new rotor and pads 2 years ago. 2 new calipers last year. New tie rod this year. Black interior is really good shape. Half the hood is blacked out. It's got a hitch also. Engine puts out 130 HP, and has a growl to it even with standard exhaust. After market intake. It may need a bit of steering work done, as it seems to turn a bit faster going left at first. There's also a lot of rust on the lift points of the body, so you have to be careful lifting it up at the right spots. If you know what you're doing it's not a problem. Some rust building up on front strut towers, typical as well. But the body is still very stiff and takes corners really well. I'd keep it as a spare car, as I have another, but if someone wants it, it could go. Totally reliable car with lots of life left.
