These lovely ladies and their kids are looking for a new, happy home. All three does are in milk. Until recently, I have made delicious yogurt, cream and cheese with this rich milk. Unfortunately, my age and health have other ideas. Wendy (the black goat) is a "Mini Alpine" - Alpine / Nigerian Dwarf. She is a first time momma, birthed March 30. She is ROCKING motherhood! Makes about one liter in 12 hours in addition to feeding her twins (1/3 Alpine, 2/3 ND - 1 wether, 1 doeling). Cocoa (dark brown with heart) is pure Nigerian Dwarf. Gave birth March 15. She makes two cups of milk in the 12 hours while feeding her triplets! 2 bucklings and 1 doe. Mocha (light brown and fluffy) is also pure Dwarf. She gave birth on March 11. 2 cups of milk. 1 buckling 1 doe (our favorite named "Chunka Tank" because she is so tiny and built like a brick.)
