Subaru Forester 2002 manual transmission, gas, AWD, 81,575K price $1,500. Single owner (occasional use hence the very low mileage), no accidents, registered and on the road its entire life (including now). Excellent cosmetic condition inside and out, (a couple of tiny dings and scratches) and everything works except the windshield fluid spray. Lots of tread on the Michelin tires (M+S). However - thorough inspection on April 23, 2024 at McBrides Service Station in Chemainus revealed work needed soon (please see photo of the estimate): complete front brakes and CV axles, exhaust manifold gasket, wheel balance. Not anything unusual. The real problem with the car is that the underside has a lot of rust (this car has never been to the East Coast but at the sole address here). Rust, a lot of rust hence the low price. This has been an awesome car and it still has some years of life left in it for the right person.
