Our boutique video production and marketing startup is seeking someone with bookkeeping and administrative experience to join the fray! We’re a small, dynamic and inclusive team, working on a variety of our own original films as well as community and commercial media projects for fantastic clients. We're proud to promote creativity and collaboration in all that we do. Key Responsibilities: • Overseeing payroll • Tracking project budgets against staff and contractor hours, other expenses • Meticulously organizing receipts, invoices and other financial paperwork • Coordinating the signing of agreements and contracts. • Greeting clients, answer general inquiries, make appointments •   Ensure office supplies, resources, and common areas including the kitchen are tidy, well stocked and functional • Help organize meetings, appointments and travel arrangements •   Record notes and meeting minutes, and keep the team aware of key deadlines and potential issues We are open to any combination of formal training and experience in bookkeeping and business administration, and also welcome applications from students in a related field. Some additional training may be provided for the right candidate. We’re looking for someone who’s available 15-25hrs to start, advancing to 35+hrs in Q2 2022. Candidates must be able to work locally in the Cowichan Valley, although some duties may be performed remotely to start. Compensation will be reflective of experience.
