Groundskeeper 1 at Duncan Meadows Golf Course

Groundskeeper 1- Must be able to work under the direction of the Superintendent and/or Foreman, carries out assigned duties, following established procedures and practices. Responsibilities- ~Operate all machines involved in golf course maintenance. ~Perform all duties in compliance with safety regulations. ~Provide manual labor when required, including garden maintenance. ~Keep clean work areas, along with tools and equipment. ~To carry out other related duties as required. Job requirements- ~Posses a valid BC Drivers Licence. ~Posses a valid BC Pesticide Applicators Certificate. ~Must have knowledge of reels including: maintenance, adjustments, and backlapping. ~Twenty-four months experience in all phases of course maintenance. ~Ability to operate all machinery competently. ~Experience in pesticide, seed and fertilizer applications. ~Ability to perform irrigation repairs, installation and set up. ~Participating knowledge of the game of golf. ~Physically able to perform all related duties in a variety of working conditions.
