The camp provides breakfast, lunch and dinner for 6 days per week and is has always been known for its home cooked, healthy, delicious meals. The job includes meals and room and board if desired. Living on site or off site is fine. Dates Needed: July 3-Aug 27, 2022. Shifts: Exact work schedule is somewhat flexible, especially around weekends. Camp runs from Sunday 4pm - Saturday 2pm weekly for 7 weeks. We understand time off is needed for a healthy work environment. This is a conversation to have with the owners. The head cook is responsible for: Production of breakfast, lunch and dinner meals as well as coordinating and producing food for other camp activities falling outside of the regular breakfast, lunch and dinner schedule. (The camp owners must approve all culinary activities involving campers). Placing large orders with GFS/Sysco food delivery companies. Breakfast 8:30am Lunch 12:30pm Dinner 5:30pm Delegating work to assistant cooks. The head cook will have: - At least 2 years experience producing large scale meals for up to 80ppl. Our camps usually have 65 campers and 20 staff on site. - Catering experience (not essential). - Great organization skills. - A strong ability to delegate, work well with others and take direction from camp owners. **Hiring assistant cooks are not a part of the job description.
