Prep Cook Job type: Regular and Relief Shift hours – 9:30 am to 6:00 pm Job Summary: The prep cook, taking direction from the Cook, prepares meal items, sorts/stores food deliveries and assists in cleaning kitchen The prep cook prepares and plates lunches and dinners in accordance with the menu set by the Chef Qualifications: Current Food Safe Level 1. Cooking or prep cook experience required Temperament and ability to interact courteously with seniors and staff Responsible, reliable, team player who has a sincere interest in providing quality Food Items and Service for Seniors Physical ability to lift 30 pounds Benefits: Unionized positions.
