$3,000 · Looking for the perfect house rental!

Dear potential landlords, We are a small, quiet family looking for our next long-term rental! We have been in our current home for 5 years and are hoping to secure a new rental for the next 3-5 years. Ideally we would like to stay as close to Victoria as possible (Mill Bay, Shawnigan, Cobble Hill areas preferred). We have 3 home-based businesses that require quite a bit of storage space, so we are looking for a home that is at least 2,400 sq.ft to accommodate both our personal and professional lives. Most of this can be unfinished space as it is mostly for storage purposes. A little bit about us: We are both local business owners, parents to a wonderful 7-year-old, and avid foodies. We love spending time outdoors in nature and treat our home like a sanctuary. We would love to find a property that has some outdoor space for gardening, as well as storage space for some construction materials such as scaffolding and ladders, and a driveway or street parking that can accommodate at least 2 vehicles. We spend most of our time in the kitchen, therefore a decent cooking space is essential (must have a full fridge/freezer, double or large sink, oven, dishwasher, and a gas range would be a huge bonus)! We have no pets, we do not smoke or party, and we utilize organic and sustainable living practices in and around our home. We hope to find a house that can become our home, and can provide excellent references. We have both been homeowners in the past and treat every house we've lived in as if it were our own. Our budget is $2,600-$3,000/month, but we may be able to consider a higher rental price for the perfect home. We are looking to start a lease anytime between end of June to end of July of 2023.
