ISO 2bdrm family friendly rental Mill Bay/Cobble Hill

My lease is up June 2022 as my landlords are moving into the suite I'm in. I'm trying to get ahead of the game by putting feelers out now, if there are any other places that are known to be coming available in Mill Bay, Cobble Hill, Duncan, Malahat or even Langford in the next 3-6 months. My landlords are also open to ending the lease early, within reason, if I find something suitable before June, knowing what the market is like. I am a 31-year-old single mom to a 3 year old and I have full time employment in Mill Bay as a bookkeeper on salary. My son (3) goes to the Montessori preschool at the Hub and will be going back and forth between his dad and I. We have excellent personal, work, and landlord references dating back to 2015 when we moved to the island. I could go farther back if necessary also. For fun, my kids and I like to go on nature hikes, geocaching, swimming, skating, we enjoy participating in seasonal festivities and all around just being out exploring and checking things out. I have an older small dog, who, I'd rather have with me but understand that not all places are pet friendly and he has alternative and happy housing with my mom if it comes to that. Obviously having a roof over my kid's head is the most important thing and I know my dog will be well taken care of, even if I can't provide that. Times are tough, and I realize how difficult this process is, not only for tenants but for landlords as well to ensure the right fit for your home. You can rest assured that I would take care of your property as if it were my own, both inside and outside and have references to back that up.
