To Good Home - Nala, Shepherd Cross

Looking to find a comfortable home for our dog Nala. Nala is a 6 year old shepherd cross, approx 110lbs. Her birthday is May 25. We are rehoming her as she has been exhibiting same sex aggression with the other dog in our household. Nala needs to be in a home where she is the only animal. While she has been raised in a home with a toddler and is familiar with known children (up to age 5), we are looking for a home with no kids due to circumstances. Nala is happy to go on a short walk around the neighbourhood (she is timid around moving vehicles and busy roads) or the trail, or cuddle up with you on the couch (her preferred place). She loves her humans and being the centre of attention. She can be slow to warm up to new people, though with time and encouragement she may come around. Nala needs an owner that is patient, firm, experienced, and willing to give her the time and attention she deserves. Nala has general allergies and is currently taking Apoquel medication which will be ongoing. Due to her allergies she is on a limited protein diet. Nala has basic commands like come when called, sit, lay down, leave it, take it, and wait. She likes playing fetch, loves to swim, roam around the yard and will work for treats.
