Is your lead position pickup a bit too weak? Maybe a little "blah"? This will fix that. $168 at Long & McQuade and Amazon (tax incl) and out of stock at L&M. A significant upgrade for Tele, Stratocaster or any guitar with a single coil space. This one is designed to be installed in the bridge position though of course you can experiment with other spots. The 4 wire setup means that it can be wired to be split for coil tapping, if you like. It has one small melt mark in the lower corner that is invisible once installed. If you are not familiar, the JB pickup started life as a collaboration between the late great Jeff Beck and Seymour Duncan. Then S.D. designed the JB jr. with the tonal characteristics of the legendary original to fit into a single coil cavity/pickguard. The result is a high output pickup that has driven the sound of rock, blues, country and more for decades. I can install this for you for an extra $30. and also do other mods like treble bleed, the "Gilmour mod" etc... If you are reading this then it is still for sale - honest.
