Small engine technician

Highway Service Sales & Rentals is looking for a full time SMALL ENGINE TECHNICIAN to join our TEAM. Everything from two-stroke engines to four cycle motors - we are a certified Honda, Toro, Stihl, Husqvarna and BE dealer. We currently offer many services out of our shop- everything from welding,porting, sharpening, engine swaps, custom fabrication and more. If you are an enthusiastic person and love for small engines and think your unique skills could add to our Team , we would love to hear from you. Duties will include the ability to: Inspect and test engines and motors to diagnose and isolate faults Adjust, repair or replace parts using hand tools and equipment Test and adjust repaired equipment for proper performance Perform scheduled maintenance service on equipment Perform Pre Delivery Inspections as per manufacturer regulations Review work orders and discuss work with supervisor Read and write work performed and list parts used on work orders in English Advise on work performed and condition of equipment Certification and Experience with 2 stroke engines is a must. Experience with Stihl, Husqvarna, Honda, Briggs & Stratton and BE is a definite asset. You will be required to attend on going training both online and in classroom (as per Covid guidelines) to align with the brands we carry and service. All of our training is 100% paid for an we encourage any other training that pertains to your job. Wage starts between $22-28/hour depending on experience.
