Greetings, I'm looking for a position in landscape maintenance. I've been in the industry now for about 10 years, and I have done it for 5 days a week, ever since I started. Going forward. I have worked on my own for years, as well as in other companies. Here are my strengths and weaknesses. Strengths: - I've done pretty much everything maintenance would offer. - Mowing - Line trimmer - Weeding - Blowing - Mulching - Pruning - Hedging - Fall clean ups, and winter prep My ideal position though is more on the ground work. I like getting my steps in. Mowing, line trimming, some touch ups on various plants and blowing is my preferred type of visit. The old CTB (Cut, Trim, Blow). Love em. Rotate in the zones every week in order to keep those aesthetics up. Gotta keep those clients loving their gardens. <(~.^)=b I have been a supervisor before, and been in charge of crews, but I want to be a regular Joe Schmo now. I enjoy meeting new clients, and helping them achieve their look. Weaknesses: - I don't use a smart phone, or iphone. I'm old school. I find those phones really invasive. I'm privacy minded. I use an older cell phone. Has a new battery, and can text briefly, and be called. - I do like time off in the winter. I like to rest after a hard years work. - I have a pace that is both fast enough, but not slow. Mind and body balance. That is vital to me. Otherwise, we burn out mentally, physically, and energetically. I can zip when needed, but I do prefer a more down to earth approach to my day. Who needs more stress right? I could give you a full year until the winter layoff season, as I'm moving up island then. I want to give a Victoria company some of my passion before I depart. I like working on smaller crews. Usually just two people, as I'm naturally reserved, and introverted. Hence why I got in to gardening. Plants are my teachers, and they bring me lots of grounding time, and peace. If you have a position that can be on a smaller crew, with a down to earth coworker, sign me up. I'm available to start Monday April 3rd. Tell me about your company please.
