Looking for a year round farm management or caretaker position in south cowichan. I am highly qualified, mature, responsible female, I have 6 yr old child for half of each week who goes to Mill Bay mature school for another 5 years. I have extensive small farm experience; especially with horses, sheep, rabbits, goats, chickens, composting and gardening. I have lots of work experience in tourism, hospitality, food service and sales, and my own business experience with marketing, bookkeeping, customer care, so happy to work with a b&b, farm café, agri tourism etc. Excellent references and a reliable vehicle. I own a tiny home in two parts that currently needs a 100 amp breaker and a water line. I have a propane hot water system and a woodstove. I strive to live in a very low ecological footprint, so working towards a solar system and electric car. Highly respectful of land, nature, privacy etc. The land I currently live on is going up for sale. I have a few farm animals (I currently raise rabbit and lamb for income and food, and have a horse for income) that I would like to keep with me, but that is negotiable (I have a cat too, which is not really negotiable). Peaceful, long term, paid or trade position a priority.
