Heya everyone 🙂 We have organized some dates for the following series of introductory clinics (they will become part of our progressive, full day clinic series this upcoming summer) Clinicians are Peggy Parkes and Desiree Bader ___________________________________________________ Intro to Flagging: June 11 (10am-12pm) $25 This introductory clinic includes: - How to use the flag ( changing hands with and without a rope, flag position when not being used and flag positions when in use) -How to safely introduce the flag to a horse. -The "Snake, Frog, Bird, Helicopter" technique to help condition horses to surprises on their environment. -How to move a horse using the flag as an extension of your body. _________________________________________________ Intro to Horse 101 June 18 (10am-12pm) $25 (This is a clinic designed for people new to horses, or horsey parents.) This introductory clinic includes: -Safety, safety and safety. -How to select and appropriate horse. (Horse and rider suitability) -Basic feed rules -Basic handling -Grooming (what is needed in a basic grooming kit, and how to) -Basic barn management (records,feed storage, tools etc) - Conformation and horse parts. And more! _________________________________________________ These introductory clinics have been created so you can come meet us and have a look at what we do, with minimal time and monetary investment.
