Dental Hygienist

North Cowichan Dental Office, located in Crofton just 15 minutes outside of Duncan. Seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing team. Pay is competitive & commensurate with experience. Experience is welcomed and new grads are always encouraged. Our ideal candidate wants to learn and is looking to be a part of a rapidly growing and viable office with an interest in holistic well-being. We are a modern, updated digital office (Cleardent) with CBCT Scanner, digital iTero scanner, and digital x-rays. In-office milling and 3D printing are slated for the near future. We are a supportive dental team that balances technology with patient education focusing on a holistic approach. We take pride in providing our patients with a high standard level of care while maintaining a fun and relaxed atmosphere. As an RDH you embrace technology, enjoy learning to increase your skill set and are familiar with and use the 2017 AAP Staging & Grading Rubric in your hygiene practice. If so, you will enjoy working with a dentist that supports your hygiene program philosophy. You take initiative and maintain a “can do” attitude. Working in a new office, and having high standards yourself, you will love the comprehensive level of our New Patient Exams. Your knowledge of various restorative treatment options and charting abilities will aid in supporting the doctor's restorative philosophy in a variety of dental procedures including (but not limited to) - Implant dentistry. Single and multi-unit - Hard and soft tissue grafting with PRF - Invisalign - Basic and Major restorative We are excited to hear from you! Please note, that we are looking for an ideal long-term addition to our team. Ideally, you are ready to start in April or May, but we can accommodate an earlier or later start date and select working days for the right candidate. Our hygiene hours are typically Tuesday to Saturday 9-5. We can be flexible on days of the week worked but you must be willing to work a minimum of one Saturday a month, ideally every other Saturday, to be fair and supportive of our other hygienist and team.
