Wage: $21.63/hour plus benefits Positions: - Permanent Full Time: Saturday - Wednesday (Competition #: 2021-05-05 SW40) - Permanent Full Time: Monday - Friday (Competition #: 2021-05-18 MF40) - Temporary Full Time (can apply for casual/ other internal positions once temporary position ends): Friday - Tuesday (Competition #: 2021-06-02 FT40) - Temporary Full Time (can apply for casual/ other internal positions once temporary position ends): Saturday - Wednesday (Competition #: 2021-05-05) *due to the nature of the work, this is a female only position Please indicate in your cover letter which position(s) you are apply for using the Competition # Submit your application to hiring@vitals.ca :) Job Summary  Responsible for a range of services for people with developmental disabilities and/or mental illness and their families  Supports individuals with personal care assistance and maintaining a standard that will ensure that they are seen positively by their friends, family, and community  Assistance with all activities of daily living including but not limited to: bathing, community activities, medical appointments, providing meals, and following care plans as outlined by professionals  Maintaining positive working relationships with all professionals involved in the care of the individuals  Participate in the development, implementation, and ongoing documentation of Person Centered Plans (PCPs) Valued Characteristics:  Can positively motivate and encourage others to meet goals  Adaptability is key as each day can present new challenges  Must be able to handle challenging situations with the utmost discretion and confidence Application Requirements  Minimum class 5 driver’s license  First Aid Community Care with CPR Level C  Negative TB Test Result  Physician’s Health Reference (form provided from Vital Society)  Clean Criminal Check  Driver’s abstract
