Care Aide / Caregiver / RCA

Care giver / RCA / Care Aide - 32-hrs a week Duncan: Elderly Woman with Parkinson and early stages of Dementia seeking a health care aide (care giver) for the following shifts: - Mon and Tues mornings 6:00 am to 2:00 pm (8-hrs each day); - Thu and Fri mornings 10:00 am to 2:00 pm (4-hours each day); - Sat nights 10:00 pm to 6:00 am (8-Hours) (not necessarily a sleeping shift) Will be expected to provide essential and important daily living support and comfort. Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting and other personal hygiene activities. Must be a team player as you will interact with family members and other care givers. Must be willing to abide by our Covid-19 Safety Plan and Protocols, including wearing a mask in the home while caring for the client. General Roles and responsibilities expected of all staff include: - Assisting client with her mobility - Performing housekeeping tasks, such as vacuuming, cleaning, and laundry - Preparing meals - Assisting in personal hygiene and dressing - Providing companionship, friendship and emotional support - Documenting services provided, incidents and/or accidents, meds given - Participating in team meetings, reviews and quality improvement strategies Essential qualifications: - Police check/clearance Preferred but not necessarily required: - RCA (or equivalent) - 3+ years relevant experience Please attach your Resume and references by e-mail only.
