Looking to add some punch to a stock vehicle in the least intrusive manner possible? This is a complete kit to add a sub to any vehicle out there, featuring two BNIB wavtech products, their LinkDQ LoC and LinkRC remote level control, a 12" Kenwood subwoofer in a Bassworx slim box, and a Hertz HE 1D amplifier. I was originally going to move this kit from my old vehicle to my new one, which is also why I'd bought the two Wavtech parts, though I ended up opting to keep my new ride's system stock. The Wavtech LinkDQ is a line-out converter with many other features built into it, including a bass restoration function to compensate for lowered bass levels on many factory systems. The LinkRC allows you to have remote level control up to 16' from the LinkDQ unit. The Kenwood sub is a KFC-XW1200F shallow sub, in a slim Bassworx box. This setup fit perfectly under the floor in the trunk of my last car, providing great punch with minimal interior space loss. The amp is the only part starting to age significantly in this kit and currently it's underpowering the sub a fair bit, but still works quite well. It's rated at 200W RMS @ 4ohm, while the sub is 350W RMS 4ohm. It's got a complete 8gauge wiring kit as well for easy setup.
