We will follow up with people we believe will be a good fit for the animal in question. If you do not hear back from us please feel free to send in applications for other animals as well.*** This beautiful boy is looking for his forever home! Tucker hasn't had much experience of the world, especially with dogs. He is also still needing to learn how to play with humans! Tucker is an exuberant and interactive dog who will need an adult only home with no other animals. His future guardian will also need experience with large, confident dogs who don't know their own strength (such as rotties, bully breeds, mastiffs). With some patience, enrichment, and positive reinforcement he will make a great companion to an experience dog owner. He loves giving affection and playing, is housetrained, and is in great health! If Tucker sounds like the right match for you, follow the directions below! To start the adoption process: 1. View Tucker's profile: spca.bc.ca and record the Animal ID # 2. Submit an application: https://spca.bc.ca/survey/dog-adoption-application-cowichan/ 3. Wait to see if you hear back. We usually contact a handful of people for further questions before booking a meet & greet. 4. If it is a match, staff will contact you to set-up an appointment to come in for a meet & greet!
