Looking to hire a Kitchen Designer

Easy Installations is a rapidly growing kitchen company, we specialize in IKEA kitchen cabinetry design. Not only limited to kitchens, but we also design cabinetry layouts for bathrooms, closets, offices, or any area that needs some love! We are a close, friendly crew working for a family-owned company. We are looking for another gem to add to our central Vancouver Island team based out of our Nanaimo or Victoria showrooms, servicing Cobble Hill to Qualicum. Our client could be looking for a small basement suite renovation, to a full creative vision for a new build. No job is too small and none too big! Easy Installations is proud of the customer service that sets us apart from others. We have created a knowledgeable, creative, and helpful team that is motivated to get the job done right. POSITION: -Make contact with new leads, provided by our office (no cold-calling!) to set your consultation appointments with clients. Setting your schedule within a Monday to Friday 8 am-4 pm parameter. Coordinating with our sister company, T-Square Construction, if that aspect is required for the project. -Meeting with clients, typically in their homes, taking accurate measurements, listening to their needs and their renovation visions. -Design the kitchen cabinetry layout and create computer renderings to present to clients. -Create accurate dimension elevations for trades to follow. (knowledge of the building codes is an asset but can be taught.) -Create & complete detailed cabinetry order lists that our administrator can follow for the IKEA orders. -Follow through with clients to take ownership of the work provided. You will be required to provide your own transportation and supplies. This is a sub-contractor position, so uncapped earning potential is possible. WCB insurance is covered by us. We know the importance of a solid crew, so understanding the role of the designer is a crucial part of the whole. We are a well-oiled machine!
