Administrative Assistant

We are a busy electrical contractor in the Cowichan Valley and are looking to add a dynamic person to our administration team. Our group of companies is looking for; Qualifications: • Valid drivers license • Strong organizational skills • Ability to multi-task and prioritize • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team • Strong numerical understanding • Time management skills • Experience using Microsoft; Word & Excel • Experience with Sage Accounting Software • Bookkeeping experience an asset Job Description: • Job tracking & costing • Invoicing accounts receivable • Obtaining permits through online services system, tracking and managing connections & inspections as required • Management of digital file system • Social media marketing Compensation/Benefits: • 40 hours a week; Monday to Friday • On the job training and opportunity for growth and advancement • Hourly wage based on experience along with skills, effort, enthusiasm and ambition • Medical, Dental & extended health benefits after 90 days (shared premium)
