This is "Dodge" He is a 2.5 year old Blackbelly Barbados Hair sheep. They are hardy, thrifty breed that is self shedding. I have owned him from 6 months old and he has bred my ewes twice producing nice babies with mild falovoured meat. He now needs a new breeding home as I am downsizing. He is not particularly aggressive, he is a ram and protective of his ewes (as he should be) so I would not totally trust him around children. I have him with my ewes year round except end of summer (to control breeding time) and he is good to them and gentle with the lambs. I can put a halter in him when he is eating grain and tie him up and trim his feet and give him wormer. My internet reception is spotty so I may take a few days to reply to emails.
