looking for companion for my elderly father

I am in search of a older cat for my father. He sadly just had to say goodbye to his best fur friend Lucy as she went over the rainbow bridge. My father is unable to walk much and so I am looking for a indoor cat that is not to excited but not fearful or skittish. My dad lives in Duncan and I live in Vancouver but I will be there from Wednesday the 6th till Friday 8th or Saturday the 9th and would be more then happy to meet then.
