Table has steel on the ends in a square so your r never bothered by lega. Beautiful white top that is a breeze to wipe spills on. It seats 6 but we have had 8. Two end chairs and table are from Wayfair. Only 2 years old. Beautiful clear chairs are comfortable and extremely sturdy and heavy duty. Get lots of compliments on this set I am selling all including the area rug for 1000 that's a great deal considering what I paid. We r downsizing and really need this gone. Would be willing to keep the clear chair if u didn't want them but rest must go as a package
