Our farmhouse is located in the middle of our 20-acre orchard and is home to our cidery, distillery and eatery. We are looking for positive multi-taskers with a good sense of humour and big smiles. With our rustic farm ambience as the background, you will be assisting the Merridale team to create memorable weddings from beginning to end. This involves set-up, serving, and closing. If full-time is desired, we have opportunities available in the farmhouse during the day. Assisting in the farmhouse would involve delivering an orchard to glass and farm to table experience to our customers. You would also assist with day time functions from beginning to end. This is a part or full-time position. It's perfect for those people in their senior years of high school or those just entering first year of post-secondary school. If you want to learn about the food and beverage industry, or you are seeking a career as an event or wedding coordinator, this is the job for you. It is not necessary to be 19, but you will be required to obtain Serving It Right. Here are your main responsibilities: -Decorating and setting tables according to wedding instructions -Serving food to guests in a family-style atmosphere -Setting tables and the room for service the next day -Speaking to guests at the table -Facilitating the guests and wedding couples requests
