Qualities of prospective tenant: -responsible, reliable, and stewardship-minded; -possesses excellent references; -gainfully employed (works remotely during COVID); -augments income with private gardening practice; -does not do drugs or party -friendly and respectful of neighbours -community-minded -excellent communicator -available to landlord for paid gardening services or other labour/assistance -familiar with rural living challenges and considerations -mindful, respectful and communicative around COVID restrictions Qualities of ideal situation: -abundance of natural light -full kitchen -full bathroom with tub -storage areas (i.e. cupboards, indoor closets) -outdoor shed for tools or permission to establish one at tenant's expense -working woodstove or fireplace with insert -semi-rural or rural location -unfurnished -clean and mold-free -in-suite laundry -clothesline or freedom to establish one -available for long-term occupancy with rental agreement/lease Additional desirable qualities: -opportunity to garden in a stewardship-style (esp. with edibles, native plants, as well as ornamentals) -freedom to practice Anishinaabe cultural ways (i.e. smudging and drumming) -permission for pets to at least visit if not live (family member with dog occasionally visits) -LGBTQ+ friendly Areas of interest include, but are not limited to: -Greater Victoria (Saanich, Central Saanich, N.
