$1,000 · WANTED: 1 bedroom in Southern Gulf Islands/Chemainus

I'm in search of a one or two bedroom rental anywhere in the Southern Gulf Islands or the Cowichan Valley near Chemainus. I currently live and work full time on Thetis Island where I have been for three years. I'm looking for accommodations for a year in order to have a quiet place to study and get away from my busy life. I would be splitting my time between where I live currently and the rental. Currently I'm also a full time student going for my Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting, 25 year old guy. Because my program is online I need internet access (either included or at least possible for me to set up an account with Shaw/Telus on site). I'm a bit of a neat freak and I don't smoke or party. Just in need of a quiet space to call my own. I'm open to apartments, cabins, park model trailers, small houses, and other accommodations. I'm not looking for shared space or roommates, nor am I looking for small camper trailers. If you have a summer property that you're not going to use this year I would be happy to do grounds keeping and other maintenance for you. I'm very handy as well and can do some fixing up if you'd like. I also have a green thumb if there's a garden that could use some rejuvenation.
