WANTED: 1 bedroom + den or two bedroom suite/apartment/house

Hello! My husband and I are looking for a long-term rental to call home for the next few years. A little bit about us: We are young professionals in our early 30s and both work with kids (I do psychoeducational testing and my husband teaches children with special learning needs). We are very quiet, friendly, and non-smokers. We are excellent tenants with great credit and rental references. We have one spayed indoor cat who I have had for ten years in various rentals - happy to give a pet deposit and our tenant references can speak to the fact that she has never caused any damage. What we are looking for: ideally we would like a two bedroom or large one bedroom with space for an office area. Bright (no basements please), quiet (we are noise-sensitive), and space for a garden. A large kitchen is a plus because we love to cook! Move in date: our ideal date is August 1st, but we can be somewhat flexible. Location: anywhere between Ladysmith and Shawnigan Lake
