WANTED: 1-3 bedroom house/cottage

Hello, I am a 40 year old professional woman looking for a house to rent close to Crofton Ferry. --(Cowichan Bay, Maple Bay, outside Duncan ok....) I prefer a private setting in a separate building but would consider a suite if it was the right fit. (ie. private, above a shop &/or very sound proof). I am looking for a long term rental and am willing to sign a lease. Currently its just me, but a friend is also considering moving to the area, so if the perfect home comes up we would share the space. I've been a Salt Spring resident for about 8 years and would like to stay somewhat connected to the island for work, etc, while I slowly transition over to V. Island. Which is why a place close to Crofton is ideal. (1/2 hr drive ok) I am currently in a 3 year counselling training program and wish to continue my studies the next couple years, with hopes of starting my new career in Cowichan area. I value a stable and secure home. I have excellent SSI local references and full-time year round employment there, as well as one day a week in Duncan. I enjoy gardening and keeping a nice outdoor space and am looking for a place that offers a private yard. My home is always in immaculate condition, super clean and tidy!
