Restoring a Raleigh? I repaired a severely damaged frame, but do not want these parts which are newer and not original to the frame. They are uncommon, so someone doing a restoration might find some of it useful. Drum brake wheels, 32 spoke front, 40 spoke rear three-speed (1965) on Westwood rims. Rusty, but can probably be restored. Spokes are rusty and must be replaced. Saddle and seat post. Cranks - the right seems to have been bent and straightened, and the pedal would not come out. The stamping, direction of herons, and heron's eyes suggest that they are also from around 1965 or earlier. It is possible that they could be better straightened and re-chromed, but they need work. Pedals - pretty beaten up and worn rubber, but perhaps good for parts. Bottom bracket - bearing surfaces are in very good condition. Old Raleigh standard: 1.37 by 26tpi (not 24tpi), for wider bottom bracket shell. Was being used in a frame that measured about 77mm wide. Cotter pins. Brake levers - would need re-chroming, but otherwise solid. Brake cables - original finished-length Raleigh cables. Stem - looks newer than 1965. Handlebars - look newer than 1965. Light support. Odd pieces of hardware - shifter parts, cable clips, et cetera. Make an offer.
