Vietnamese Food Cook

Restaurant Information: Established more than 20 years ago and located in the heart of downtown Duncan, British Columbia, Nha Trang offers a variety of Japanese and Vietnamese food items, including a wide selection of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. Job Duties: Nha Trang is looking for one or more experienced cooks to perform the following job duties:  Prepare and cook Vietnamese food items, such as pho, bun rieu, bun bo hue, banh canh, pancakes, spring rolls and grilled sausage  Assist with menu planning and development  Comply with guidelines and standard operating procedures  Ensure high standards of cleanliness and sanitation  Train kitchen staff, and  Maintain good and effective communication between the front and back of house. Required Skills and Experience:  At least two (2) years of experience working as a Vietnamese cook in a commercial dining establishment  Ability to work efficiently, multi-task and perform well under pressure; and  Completion of secondary school. Terms of Employment:  Permanent  Full-time (at least 30 hours per week) Wage:  $17.00 per hour Location:  62 Kenneth Street in Duncan, British Columbia
