$300 · Spring Break Horse Camp

**** ONLY 2 SPACES LEFT AS OF JANUARY 25TH**** Registration is now open for Cowichan Therapeutic Riding Association's Spring Break Camp, happening March 19th-23rd! This half day camp is open to children of all abilities age 7-15, and provides a safe and inclusive learning environment with our safe and happy therapy horses and CanTRA, Equine Canada, and EVABC certified instructors. Groups will be divided according to riding level, from first-time on-lead riders who need a personal horse handler, to walk, trot, canter independent riders. Campers will cycle through riding, stable management, and barn chores, where they will learn about and care for their equine friends - it's like having your own horse for a week! On the final day of camp, the kids will split into 2 groups to try the unique and fun sport of Equestrian Vaulting - combining the strength, balance, and flexibility of gymnastics aboard a moving horse! Camp cost is $300, plus a $10 CTRA membership if not already a member, and the best part is that this money helps support our regular therapeutic programs!
