Rum Tasting

RUM tasting club looking to taste rum, pretty self explanatory. Rum is making a come back and each year a larger variety is available. Enough of us are travelling to the States and to Victoria/Vancouver to come up with hundreds of bottles. Rum is every bit as complex as other spirits, but has the sweeter taste and feel. It makes for a very approachable spirit for those starting but complicated for years of enjoyment. We'd be tasting a range of aged styles, neat, at 30% and on the rocks as suited to the style or bottle. Or all 3 for the experience. You need not have any experience! The web will give us all the information, but as a club we can share many more bottles than you could cellar yourself. No judgement here, any style and any price point. There are as many good $45 bottles as there are $95. Cuban/Spanish, English, French Rhum, Aged Cachasa is all welcome. As before, you could bring rum or not, we'd work it out.
