Resource Manager - Child Behavioural Support Worker

This position requires a commitment to work full time, supporting an Indigenous child in care with complex mental health needs. The Resource Manager is responsible for: * Daily cleaning, cooking, and driving. * Overseeing the functionality of the resource. * Supervising a team of employees. * Collaborating with external stakeholders. * Ensuring accurate documentation within deadlines. * Training new staff as needed. * Attending meetings with person served. * And more! Compensation and hours: Training wage is $22.75 per hour, Starting rate increases to $24.50 after training period Schedule is as follows: Sundays 4:00pm-12:00am Mondays 1:00pm-9:00pm Tuesdays 1:00pm-9:00pm Wednesdays 1:00pm-9:00pm Thursdays 1:00pm-9:00pm Required Qualifications: * Current First Aid (or willing to obtain) * Current Food Safe (or willing to obtain) * Class 5 Driver's License * Clean Criminal Record Check (completed with the agency) * Clearance through the Ministry Screening (completed with the agency) * Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training (IDMYS provides internal training) * TB Test * Must be at least 19 years old Preferred Experience: * Experience in a management or supervisory position. * Experience working with at-risk youth and/or people who have experienced trauma and exhibit extreme behaviour, and have mental health diagnosis. * Experience administering and documenting daily medications. * Completed, or are in the process of completing, a degree or diploma in a related field (education, psychology, child and youth care, counselling).
