Red Cross: Health Equipment Loan Program- Delivery Driver Volunteer

Application deadline: January 31, 2019 Looking for applicants within: Nanaimo, Victoria The Canadian Red Cross Society, a non-profit, humanitarian organization dedicated to helping Canadians, as well as the most vulnerable throughout the world, is seeking a Health Equipment Loan Program (HELP) Delivery Driver volunteer. Reporting to the Equipment Supply Associate, this position assists the Program Technician in the delivery and pick up of health equipment at clients' homes and at HELP sites. HELP is a volunteer-operated, community-based program that lends health equipment such as wheelchairs and bathing aids to people of all ages who are recovering from surgery, illness or injury. Our service provides solutions to those who are confronted with a sudden injury, declining health or short-term disability.
