LOCATION:MILLBAY -Gentle Earth Products ltd and Island Essentials Soap/Skincare Co is looking for a production person to fill the role of lead soap & skincare maker for our growing green business. The successful applicant has experience in manufacturing, ideally in the Industry, having made soap and/or skin care products, have an understanding/experience with natural ingredients, formulations and other aspects of production/manufacturing. For the right candidate, but lacking experience, a training wage will be discussed until skills are brought up to competency. You need to be: *Physically fit, able to regularly lift 25kg boxes, pales and handle a pallet jack (yes a good back is essential to this job) *Focused and detail oriented *Familiar with recipes/trends/understanding of healthy ingredients or basic chemistry/botany understanding *Able to deliver on demanding time sensitive orders, meet deadlines, work with the team to ensure exemplary quality in finished product, improve existing products and help us launch new products *Team player with strong work ethic* Good self care habits *Green lifestyle choices. Salary dependent on experience. We can offer 30 hrs-40 hrs a week as new contracts arrive in the coming months. Herbal experience or have made/sold your own skincare products or worked in a high production facility, please apply. We have long term contracts with major store chains-Thrifty Foods, Sobeys, Save-On-Foods, Country Grocer, Whole Foods and many others in addition to an expanding online presence.
